This video was developed to give an introduction to some AI techniques that can be used in games. It gives an overview of ad-hoc rules, state machines, behavior trees, planners, and neural networks. This video was designed for young programmers and beginners. I want to give a special thanks to IADave from intrinsicalgorithm.com for his good articles on AI development. I’m currently using these techniques to build a AI framework for the game engine that I’m currently developing and I hope in the future to release much if not all of the AI source code to the public.
